Ezra Stiles Beech Rollerball Pen
This pen was handcrafted from one of two American Beech trees (Fagus grandifoli) that grew in front of the entrance to the Ezra Stiles College dining hall. The 62 year old trees were part of the original landscaping for the College courtyard when it opened in 1958. The trees were removed as part of the Stiles College renovation in 2010. Only a small amount of wood was collected from this tree so the number of Ezra Stiles Beech pens available is limited.
Also includes a decorative box and card describing the history of the tree.
