Law School Beech #81
This bowl was handcrafted from a beech tree that grew across from the Law School on High Street. The tree was removed in the summer of 2015 to facilitate renovations to the Book and Snake Secret Society building. For at least 70 years, this tree provided shade to the Law School, the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, and the Book and Snake building. This is bowl #81 that has been turned from this tree.
