Gibbs Oak Rollerball
These pens were hand-turned from a massive oak tree that grew in front of the Gibbs building on Science Hill. The tree was removed in 2016 to clear the way for the demolition of Gibbs and the construction of the new science building that is now built in its footprint. The tree was at least 60 years old. They were among the largest trees on campus.
Also includes a decorative box and card describing the history of the wood.
