Yale Medical School European Pen
These pens and bowls were hand-turned from an Amur Cork tree (Quercus suber) that grew on the Medical School Campus behind the Boyer Center for Molecular Medicine and the C-wing of 333 Cedar Street. The largest branches of the tree were removed in September 2018. The remaining sections of the tree still stand in the court yard.
