Yale University Art Gallery Rollerball Pen
This pen was handcrafted from a slippery elm tree (Ulmus rubra) grew in front of the Yale University Art Gallery on Chapel Street. Arguably the best university art gallery in the world, YUAG opened over 180 years ago and is now the oldest art museum in the western hemisphere. This tree was removed shortly after the renovation of the Street Hall wing of the gallery in 2013.
Also contains a designer pen box and a card describing the history of the tree and its location.
