Divinity School Beech #14
This natural edge bowl was handcrafted from an American Beech tree that grew in front of the Yale Divinity School. The tree died and was removed in the summer of 2020. The margin patterns in the wood are the result of fungal spalting of the wood. This bowl is #14 of the bowls that will be crafted from this tree. This bowl is 8 1/2” in diameter and 4.5” high.
• Also includes a card describing the history of the tree’s location on campus.
